I gotto write this down! Some exciting and not so exciting stuff has been happening! I got deathly sick, I got my hair straightened, my son started to read books alone, and I am a matron of homour on Saturday!
Let me see....
Last Fridaynight was the first of a two parter hens night for my friend Kelly. We went to a plushy resteraunt in Traralgon, spend lots of money on a little food, had great fellowship, and Kelly got a special git from all of us. Everyone had two random months (2 years worth of months) worth of cards, that had the month of the front, and the inside was blank. And they wrote down an encouraging quote, a memory verse, or some words of encouragment on their cards, just off the top of their heads. These cards were then put (in order of month) into a box that had a space at the top specially for displaying one card. Kelly now has a special card for every month that has on it words of encouragment and love from her friends.
The second part was a lunchion after church at one of the ladies houses, and we all enjoyed some fun and games (how many pegs you could pick up with one hand, make a toilet paper wedding dress on the bride-to-be, and do the brides makeup blindfolded!) and we had some eats, and at the gift was everyone gave kelly a recipe for something or other that was special to them. Mine was a sweet potatoe salad that my family LOVE. Another was an old dutch preserves recipe. You get the idea.
Well, when the girls dropped me home after that, I suddenly felt sick. REALLY sick! I mean, within about half an hour I could not stand up the room was spinning and my legs were numb sick! I crashed hard and fast and was completly out of it for two days!! In that two days I lost four kilo's, a third of my hair, and was so white even the children were worried about me! Not fun. I have recovered, but am still two kilo's lighter, and people tell me I am still looking rather frail.
Kelly straightened my hair to see if it would work for the wedding.

Malachi has been reading Dr Seuss books to himself! He can read them well out load, but we are encouraging him to try and read silently. If he can manage this, it will be awesome! I am so pleased with him!! hehehe
The wedding is Saturday! Oh me oh my. I am mixed excited and anxious! I think mostly I am looking forward to it being over!!
My winter garden is strating to look really good, getting bushier, yay! Did you know you can eat cauliflower leaves? They are not bitter, less strong in flavour than cabbage, and good ruffage! (yeah, I know that's spelt wrong, but the other way I tried it looked worse!!) and I still have a tomato plant that is yeilding tomatoes, and some of my roses are still flowering!
I am about to go out to wedding rehersal, hopefully I don't trip anyone up!!!!!!
