Painting the kitchen

My kitchen has been rather sad for a while. We started painting the edges and interesting bits in an oil based dark brown a year ago. Because it's easier to look after, longer lasting, and looks nice, but it has been slow going up until recently. When the weather made it too wet to do much outside! Here is what it looks like so far,

The photo makes it look rather dark, but is like it, and it's so much snazzier than the way it was before!
