Moving Right Along

Have not yet worked out how to post a blog at the other place as yet, so here will do :)
As some may have noticed, I have culled back on my groups here and way back on my activity, but this not on Minti alone. I have pulled back on most of my computer activity, as I was feeling bad because the children were not happy, and I put this down to my attention being split between them and the computer. So the computer has taken a back seat, heheh. I'm still here, just quiet :) Anyone who is my friend on Facebook will see that I am still active at intervals, lol. Love Pintrest, heheh.
So, it is still damp, and soggy and muchy, but we are fairing better because I have a system happening now. I got myself a whole heap of symple activities for the children, printed them on a piece of paper (1 activity per paper) and they get to do one every afternoon or evening, depending on what it is. Todays was make a time capsule to be opened in January! The children all added something, then when the box was sealed they decorated the box, and I put it on a high shelf! Yesterday they made paper bag puppets, the day before they played bucket basketball (with socks) and the day before that we made a cubby with a blanket and the lounge chairs in the lounge room! You get the idea? The children love it!
Yesterday I packed up the four children and we went and visited Elein (my co-conspirator in Sunday School) to go over the lesson before it was printed, and the children got to have a play date with Kathleen (Elein's daughetr) to boot, so it was an awesome morning!
Today we cleaned the house, and then Michael printed the lesson. Big day! So we had pizza and chippy night tonight because it was too much hassle to make meat and vegge, and we ate in front of the TV and watched Hookwinked. Hilarious movie!!
Tomorrow is our fortnightly shop, so Hadassah and I will get quality time, and it will be another big day, but I love spending time with Dassah.
Saturday (the normal housecleaning day) will be fun! Michael is going to Walhalla with the other men of thechurch for a special outing, so I am taking the children and going to visit Mum and Dad at Golden Beach. Can't wait! Its going to be awesome.... so long as it doesn't rain...
The new dog, Spud, is being naughty. Since he's seen Gaspode grump at Eli he has done it himself a couple of times, and I am so unhappy with it! He is a lovely little dog, but I have to watch him oh so carefully when my baby boy is around. Darn Gaspode. Hopefully Eli will start to be more gentle with all the encouragment he is getting to do so!
Hope everyone is comforable and warm!

Shopping day was HUGE! Took me all day Friday, with Hadassah's help, to knock it on the head, but we managed to get everything on the shopping list, PLUS! I got Hadassah three little flowering plants for her to plant in a larger pot, and she was so happy with them! They are now in proud place in the green house in their nice pot :) And I planted some sweet pea's too, hopefully they will strike! Man am I tired!! BUT!! I brought home this complete mouse house PLUS accessories for only $15!! I have always had a loathing for mice, but me cannot walk away from a bargain like this and I comfort myself that the little beggars don't live long, lol! It should be alright so long as they are kept clean, yes? hehehe!
Golen beach on Saturday was Soooooooo nice! It was actually quite warm!  Been cold for soo long, and here I was in a t-shirt! lol! We went down to the beach, and the children and their Auntiers played with great enthusiasm, making sand castles and various shapes in the sand, burying themselves, and what not! Shell collecting too! Mustn't forget that!
We stayed for dinner and drove back after dark. Man was it foggy! Had to have my lights on low beam or it looked like a wall of white and I couldn't see ANYTHING!! Got home around... 8:30 ish...
Sunday School was awesome! We did Daniel in the Lions Den and we made books of the story and then a paper plate lion head after wards! LOL! The children were so funny running around the church afterwards with their masks! Hehehehe!!
Then when we got home I had to catch up on the washing I didn't do the day before *groan*
Today we had a day visit to Walhalla, and I have to say it was a real nice visit! We left at around ten, which isn't bad for us, lol!! We were all rugged up as Walhalla has a reputation for being freezing cold, but once we were there it was only really fresh, but I think this was mainly due to there being no wind.
We walked up and down the main road with the pram, and stopped by the park (because they had loo's) and the children played for a bit. Then we went back to the car, put the pram away, and climbed many, many stairs on the way up to the walking track for a little bushwalk!
On the way home the children were a little irritable, but that is to be expected :)
Let me see if I can add some piccies :)
Aww NUTS!! The computer is not co-operating....  I'll have to try in a bit or more. Here's the web site: www.walhalla.org.au/ annnddddd.... Oh! Here's another cool one: www.visitvictoria.com/Regions/gippsland/Destinations/walhalla.aspx
