A Spot of Gardening

I am right now supposed to be taking my clothes off the line, as the water on the stove isn't hot enough to poor into the bath yet (our hot water system hasn't been replaced yet, so we are still warming our water up on the stove in pots for baths and washing dishes), but you see, I have this lovely cup of coffee I need to drink, so I am writing as well ;)
So I shall tell you all about how my back garden grows :D
Firstly, you know I mentioned in past blogs how I was trying a vertical garden? Well that was a miserable failure. I couldn't keep it moist enough to grow anything!! So Michael has pulled it down and we are going to have a storage chest there instead.
My lemon/lime graft is happy as larry! I have buds! Woot! This is a bud from the lemon half:
And this is a bud from the lime half!
Above are three tiny little manderines on my manderine tree! And below is my newest twist to the garden. In here you can see Calandulars around the potted Feijoa, and in the front are some strawberry plants!
This is a different angle, looking back towards the house,
And another looking towards the children's area. I hope it works out!
 Now into my veggie patch!
Here you can see in front some dwarf green Kale from last year, and behind it some spent tomato plant I need to pull up., and behind that a bean vine that sort of went mad!
Here you can see egg plant bushes in the front, then little pattypan squash, then marrow, and riiight at the back and off to the side some cherry tomatoes that are still fruiting.
Here in the front you can see an apple cucumber vine that is done, then some chilli plants that are still happy, and beside them some more cucumbers that are still fruiting, and behind it that crazy been vine again!
here are my baby onions (and a rogue potato)
here are some spent bean bushes in front with a mixture of capsicum and eggplants behind them. and off to the side my Pink accordion tomato plant, still fruiting.
Here is some spent pumpkin vines, and a rather chewed on Cape Gooseberry,
There they all are lined up like piggies!
This is right beside it, and you can see brussel sprouts, a few silverbeet and some pumpkin,

And  now that I have been reminded of all the work I have yet to do I shall go and sort my clothes!! Bye!

    1. Autumn is getting itself comfortable here and the sharpness in the air makes me itch to be outside!

    1. Aww, right back at you! I have some Autumn seedlings on the go, but I dunno where I'm gonna put them yet! I pulled out three finished pumpkin vines, four tomatoes, and a zucchini, but I still don't have a lot of spare space yet! LOL! And I thought I wouldn't have this problem with the bigger garden, LOL!
