Top Up

Sometimes I get a really nice hairdo in Hadassah's hair, and this was the most recent one,

Its a progressive French braid starting at one side of her head and finishing at the other. Very happy with it :)
We have had an extremely eventful month. You see, our African friend had her children taken off her by DHS in what can only be described as a case of extreme misunderstanding.  My husband and I were helping her as much as we could during her separation from her children, and with the lawyer and what not, but it was very hard on her because everyone has trouble  understanding her. She is Merle. And for all those people who think they know, Merle is NOT Sudanese. Same country, different people, different language. And finding an interpretor for her was so terribly difficult. On the court day they ended up having to have an interpretor for her on the phone! But anyway.
Jumping to the end of the story, we got the children back to her. Which was so good, because she is still breastfeeding her youngest! The condition of them coming home is that I look in on her and the children every day. So this means I have little chill out time, lol!
I have incorporated them into my morning walk in the morning, so will show up on their doorstep around 8am, and help out getting ready for school, and sometimes I will see them later on as well.
We ourselves only suffered one casualty during this episode, and that was Michael cutting the tip of his finger off while trimming the back hedge with the electric hedge trimmer. He did not have his mind on the job, and it cost him.

All that black bit will come off.
He is not terribly worried about it, though. LOL!
