I managed to get a photo of Ian in pretty much the same position as little Butchy used be be in.
It isn't quite as bad as it sounds, but the novelty IS starting to wear off, slightly.
Since the last time we had guinea pig babies the cats got most of them, we have been endeavouring to reinforce the cage so they can't reach them through the bars.
We tried rubber gutter guard, which worked fine till the dog discovered he could rip it off with his teach. Then the cats finished the job.
Now Michael is lining the inside with bird mesh. Methinks the cats will have a hard time getting past THIS!!
While the cage was indisposed the piggies got walled up in my open green house. They liked that a lot,
As a reward for Michael's efforts towards his daughters lets I made another sour milk chocolate cake.
Phebe helped me ;)

Wow - it took me a while to finish catching up, but I finally did. So sorry about your peppers and the dog, but I think you made the best decision. Looks like you guys had a wonderful time in the snow! We love to go to the snow also, of course right now we are in summer! :D I love your dining table solution - such a great idea, and it looks really good. Glad you had a wonderful time for your sister's 21st birthday. I hope you have solved the cat/guinea pig problem - time will tell! I will be back again soon!
