The children awoke from their tent sleep fairly refreshed and with minimal puffiness under the eyes from having gone to sleep at, oh, it was well after 10pm!
We were anxious to be away, but I insisted on having the tent pulled down and put away before we left, so Michael attacked that job while I drew up plans for this weeks Sunday School lesson, packed the nappy bag, and got the children ready.
We managed to get out of the house at around 11am, and I am happy to say that during the 40 minute drive (or so?) to Uncle Neil and Aunty Meralyn's farm Eli had a nanna nap, so was in good spirits when we got there :D
The day was lovely! We talked, wandered in Aunty Meralyn's beautiful garden, had a wonderful lunch of lamb sanga's, walked around the paddock with Uncle Neil, talked some more, fed a baby lamb, and then drove home again!
And guess what? I had five sleeping people in the car with me all the way home!
Lol 5 children haha ;)
ReplyDeletelol, yeah! I would have gotten a photo of that, too, but our camera started to play up, and now there will be no new photo's till we buy a new cardy thingy for it :(
DeleteLooks nice... but also looks hot...
ReplyDeleteOh yes! Very hot! But believe it or not, much cooler under the trees than in the house!
DeleteHow beautiful! I love those flowers.
ReplyDeleteYes, me too! You would hardly think, to look at the garden, that they had so little rain, eh?
DeleteLovely photo's as usual. How lovely that the kids could feed the lambs. Your children all looked like they had a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteWe all had a wonderful time, Mrs Thrift! I wish we had a farm ourselves, lol!!
DeleteThat would be so great wouldn't it
ReplyDeleteOh yes! My husband rolls his eyes claiming I would fill anything I was given up and complain about having no space again, LOL!!!
