My Birthday

Today was my birthday. Yay me!
It started by me getting woken up by four very excited children...no sleep in... but never mind, I got some lovely presents! Malachi, Hadassah and Phebe all chose presents for me. Malachi's was a mirrored jewellery box, Hadassah gave me this beautiful leather pink wallet, Phebe have me an outdoor ornament, (it hangs up and has a clock, a barometer, and a bird feeder), and Michael gave me a pyrex measuring cup and a nut chopper. And I also got a present from Granny. She gave me...a mobile phone!
Granny's mobile phone is quite timely, even though I don't know how we are going to afford  it yet, we are thankful we have it because on Monday we are going to travel up to Cohuna, which is six hours away on the NSW/Victorian border, and inland. That is a long trip to be out of contact in!
The rest of the morning Michael an I spent cleaning the house, because my sister Miriam is coming down to house sit while we are away with her family and pets (SUCH a BLESSING!!) and we got about half way through it before lunch.
After lunch my brother, Tim, rocks up and spent the afternoon here with a friend of his. He bought me cake and they went on a walk with me round the lake! Love my brother!
We had cake with candles after our walk, and they sung happy birthday when the candles were blown out.
After we had consumed our slices of cake Tim and William took their leave and Michael and I swung back into finishing the housework.
Happily sitting down now having a bit of quiet time before bed :)
