Churchill had a show on last Sunday, and we got a flier in the mail about it two days before pay day, so were able to put some money aside, and go!
The children were so excited! We had organized to go straight after church, and this was all the hildren could talk about!
When we got there there was no food stalls, except for the coffee stall and the Yorkshire tea tables in the dome, both of which cost a wee bit more than we were willing to spend, so we walked back to the car, grabbed some KFC, then went back to the show after we'd eaten!
There were car boot sales, the usual stalls filled with all the pretties you'd expect at a show, live music, face painting and a bouncy castle, with the promise of Hoot the Owl at the end of the day!
We browsed the stalls and boot sales first. Everyone picked up a little something plus the children got wind whirleygigs, showbags and cotton candy,
Then the children had their faces painted, and got balloons twisted into fun shapes by a coffee drinking pirate!
And then they went on the bouncy castle while Daddy and I had coffee,
And lastly they got to see Hoot, which was just the icing on the cake
A lovely, fun filled day, and as a finishing touch, this was the final photo I took that day :)
I love that last picture! Those kids are truly tuckered out! Sounds like you and your family had a wonderful time!
