Moe Halloween Festival

So the children were really excited about dressing up for the Halloween festival this year, only we didn't know when it was on. I literally found out when it was on that morning!
Every ones costumes were sorted but Malachi's, and fortunately, his was a simple matter of popping out to Office Works and having it printed, then a quick cut, fold, and glue!

Hadassah was a skeleton,

Eli was a white tiger,

Phebe a witch,

and Malachi was Minecraft's Steve!

There were a lot of cool costumes at the festival, but Malachi's stood out, and he got a lot of  people waving to him, saying g'day, and taking his photo!

Eli spent most of the time in the pram, but with a steady flow of sweets he was happy!

The highlight of the festival for the children was NOT the candy collecting, but the inflated slide! The spent a blissful ten minutes running and sliding and  bouncing madly!

By the time we felt hungry Michael was really surprised to see it was 7pm! So we all grabbed hot dogs and a bucket of chips each and made out way back to the car.
The car was a problem, because it had over heated on the way to Moe, and we weren't sure why. We figured we'd suss it out before we went home because the car would be cool by then.
Turns out it was out of water, but we didn't have any water in the car, so we nursed it to the nearest petrol station, where it took about eight litres and has been fine ver since.
