The inside ones bath the lounge room in a
warm glow, so we don't have to put the lights on. Trouble is, its not
getting dark till half eight or so, so the children don't get a lot of
time to see the lights lit.
Its alternating between hot and cold here. Yesterday it was humid as all get out, and the day before that it was cold (like, 16 degrees or something), and today its nearly 30, so we have no idea whats going on, lol!
They were pretty excited as Daddy was trying to wire it all up, but we wanted them to see it in the dark, so all three stayed up till nearly nine so they could see them properly, nearly driving us mad in the process, lol!
We decorated inside nearly a week ago, but the lights went up on the first. Theres not as much up as normal, because we are going away for Christmas, but we feel that there is a nice display out there for the street to see.
Several homes have decorated today, also, so its very encouraging.
