28 Dec 2011 And so Summer Begins

Summer never seems to really start around here till the Christmas decorations atart to come down. Well, they are coming down, and its really starting to feel like summer - even though the breeze out there is a darn sight chilly, lol!
I have been enjoying time with family, and not much else (besides washing ). Michael's Aunt and Uncle are currently visiting, and we are enjoying 'Aunty Nancy' and 'Neil the Great' (Nancy didn't want to be great Aunty Nancy, but we can get away without it as we don't have any other Aunties by the name of Nancy, Neil was different as we already had an Uncle Neil, and he sisn't want to be great Uncle either, so we simply swapped the words around ). They are staying ina caravan park half way between us and the next town, in a tent, and the children love playing on the jumping pillow, and have been bugging me to ask if they can go it the pool, but this wind has been so cool I have been disinclined - I'm hoping to get a day before they leave that is warm enough for them to pile into the park's pool, though. Right now they are splashing around in the clam in the back yard with the bath toys.
I hope every one has had a safe and happy Christmas, I shall start browsing around here when Nancy and Neil leave, and I think that'll be on the third of Jan ... till then I will probably remain scarce! Love to all

We are soooo glad we packed the ornaments away when we did! The heat wave hit a few days ago, and hasn't let up yet! I swaer things would be MELTING id they were still up!!
Yeah, they got to splash in the pool two days in a row, and now that Nancy and Neil are gone we are laying low, but Michael and I are thining about a camping trip maybe before the holidays end ...
The time with Nancy and Neil was really good. Every one had a great time :)
