On another note, my winter veggies are all growing nicely in their pots. I am going to speak to the garden before I plant them out - want to take out a couple of gum trees, and build up a box around each of the sections .. we'll see how we go. I'm really excited about all the seedlings. A friedn and I are teaming up with our gardens to see if we can grow enough together to not have to buy any. A nice theory, but we shall see. I have much optimism! lol!
Oh yeah! I also finally have my spinning wheel up and running! So now I can use that wool I have been keeping these ten odd years!
Yeah! And I'm finding that he is more socially inclined than Phebe is! She is still happy to play on her own, where Eli needs to be with his siblings or he's not happy!
I did a wee bit of spinning just then -
but it took me a while to work out (remember) how to make the wool spin
onto the bobbin! Turns out I was missing a tie, but once that was sorted
I was fine! And the wool doesn't look too bad, considering I don't
think I've actually SPUN for around 15 years or so!!!

I can keep up a running converastion with Eli simply by either
repeating what he is saying to me or else saying stuff like 'yes' and
'that's very interesting' and 'do go one!' and 'uhuh?' its very cute!
my garden and I are slowly reaching an understanding with each other, lol! Its been a slow process of five years so far, and negotiations are still on going, lol!
