25 May 2011 Fun, fun, fun!

No, not being sarcastic this time, lol!
Hadassah went on her first sleep over last night! It was with Granny, who came via train and picked her up, and apparently Dass only got tetchy when they had to wait for another train to pass and the wait was something like five minutes.
They walked home in the twilight, and Granny fed her a vegetarian dish of I can't remember what, but Dass was satisfied with it, so I'm not complaining :) And then Dass was bathed in a tub (Granny tries to save water at every turn, as our water is very expensive), and then they watched some TV, only Granny said that Dass was more interested in 'beautifying a toy dinasour with hair things and jewelry than watching, lol!
Before bed time Granny Took the small girl and the wee doggie for a walk so the wee doggie could, well, wee, and then they read stories and prayed before bed. Granny said that Dass took a while to nod off, but once she did she was dead to the world!
During the night apparently my daughter barely moved (she slept in bed with Granny), ands woke up at the reasonable hour of 8am to breakfast on crumpets and jam.
All in all, a very nice trip.
Not such a pleasant time when I was informed last week that a child was sent home with meningococcal, and all the parents who's children were there are on alert, even the ones who had no contact, like mine. I'm all like, Aaaaagh!! But Phebe showed no sign whatsoever, and so I called yesterday to make sure it was safe for her to go back today, and was given the green light. Seriously! I do not need scares like this!
Phebe is still showing no inclination to wee in the loo, but she is improving in other areas, like she will feed herself without any help at all meal times now, and she has lovely manners (please, thank you, etc), so I shall count it all as blessings :)
I have taken a few minutes of footage on the spur of the moment here, www.youtube.com/watch, and I'd love to know what you think!
Huh, his royal smallness calls again, I must be off!

That's not Phebe, guys, that's Hadassah! I was calling her 'Dassa in the short. THIS is Phebe www.youtube.com/watch and here www.youtube.com/watch.
Just got back from a day of grocery shopping, and I had Eli and the two girls with me, and BOY! Am I TIRED!! Thankyou for all the lovely comments, I hope these links are viewable, I know they will be dark because I am only using our camera, and the room looks like a bombs hit it because its only bee Michael and Malachi home all day, and you know how boys are, lol!
