In the mean time Ganny is moving back to Tasmania with her man, Chris, and they will be moving into a house that is practically on the beach!! Granny is getting rid of very nearly everything she owns, and we are getting the majority of it. I am really happy about this because it means I can have little keepsakes of her all over the house for the childrren , and I will be encouraging them all to write to her like a penpal :)
I just weeded my entired veggie patch, and discovered how bad I need more Sugar Cane mulch for it! Our compost isn't ready yet, or I'd use that! Oh well, we are still living off our spinach, tomatoes, and lettus, and I get the occasional cucumberr, zuchini, bean, and cauliflower, The strawberries have slackened off, as have the rasberries, but fruit is cheap.
Malachi and I just did a spelling test and he got 100% on it so I am psyched! He is doing English now. Lot of reading. But he's doing real well.
Eli can walk, let it be noted. He just prefers to crawl, lol!
Dancing lessons start tomorrow!
Granny is moving away for personal
reasons that have nothing whatsoever to do with us. So long as she is
happy, I am happy, lol! And I have little things around the house to
remind us of her so its all good!
Yeah, sugar cane mulch is good because it rots down into the ground and enriches the soil, and kills the weeds at the same time!
