02 Dec 2010 My beautiful Children

These are the Pixie Photo's choice for this year.

Phebe

Hadassah

Malachi
Malachi and Hadassah were done really quick in the shoot, but Phebe took a while because she was distracted, lol! We were given a CD with all the photo's taken on it, and could see Phebe in a lot of different poses, lol!
We've been doing them every Christmas since Malachi was born, and so we can mark what changes have happened in them each year. Funny, but they all look very similar at the same age, though I suspect Malachi will make his own journey from here, and the girls will continue to look alike, lol!
they are all Biblical names. We set ourselves a challenge when we first got married to choose Bible names for our children that my parents had not yet chosen (I am the oldest of eleven, and we all have first and second Bible names), sort of to show that there are cool Bible names that my parents had overlooked type of thing, lol!
Malachi means 'my messanger', and his middle name is Jon, which is 'God is gracious', so we have God's gracious messanger there.
Hadassah (which was Queen Esther's name before she became Esther!), means 'Myrtle', and her middle name is Eden, which means 'garden', so we have a myrtle garden, and can break that down further, because 'myrtle means joy, so we could also so garden of joy.
And finally Phebe, which means 'bright', and her second name is Eve, which means 'life', so we get bright life.
They are living up to their names quite well, so far, but we haven't hit the teans stage yet, so we shall see, eh?
