have had an extreemly quiet arvo, because Michael and the two girls
went with Granny to drop some stuff off at a friend of hers who lives
out the other side of Moe, and so its been just me and the two boys, and
its been soooo quiet!!
So what I'be done so far is washed th clothes, hung them outside, and
brought them in and put them away as they've dried . . . prunes back
the rasberry and gosseberry bushes . . . . changed Eli twice and his bed
once (spew cacking kid!!) . . . made dinner . . . tidied the house
within an inch of its life . . . taken the garbage bin out to the side
of the road, and placed the green waste bin where Michael will remember
to tend to it . . . put the car away in the car port . . . and pottered
away on Minti . . .
Please note, I am almost never bored, but I do get restless, lol!
We had a mouse in our house!! Gaspode (our wee doggie) had done such a
good job of keeping the cats under control that we got a mouse!! But
not any more, bwahahahaha!! We put a mouse trap in the grill (above the
stove) and lathered it with dripping, and the rotten little thing was
caught yesterday! Ohh yeah! No more mouse!!
I'm so glad that nop one but Phebe and I caught the whoop, and even
gladder that we got on top of Phebe's before she started to whoop!
Unfortunatly I am stuck with the afore mentioned whoop for the duration,
but this is a small thing, compared with what might of been!
I was out in the garden the other day, and did some tending, but
everything is really small at the moment . . . not much yeild as yet,
but we have high hopes :)
Had a lovely visit from two friends from church last night. They
arrived at 8pm, just after all the children were put to bed, and we
yarned away till nearly ten thirty, when we were all so tired we could
hardly keep our eyes open, but it was a lovely relaxed time of talk, hot
chocolate, and apple pie with ice cream, Yummy! Hope we can do it again
sometime!!
