I am really trying to rest people! I really am! But nature is against me at the moment!
So on Monday we had Malachi and Hadassah take to the trampoline with steak knives they has some how managed to get a hold of (ack!!!!!!!) and so they no longer have a trampoline. Daddy had a very serious talk to them about this before sending them both for an afternoon long time out.
Then on Tuesday I went to the doctors (I think it was Tuesday, any way) and got the script for the penicillin, and decided on a whim to take the back way home. I found Phebe a block from home being detained by two people!! Apparently she had slipped out the front door about five minutes earlier and come looking for me!! A gentleman had actually stopped his car in a hurry to stop her from trying to cross the busy road, and a lady had come out of her unit, and they were just about to call the police because they didn't know who owned her!! My heart stopped, I swear!
The last night I had to rush Eli to Emergency at the hospital at 1am because he was having trouble breathing!!!!!! When I was in hospital a group of specialists came to see me and talk about Eli conserning my vitamin D deficiency during the pregnancy, and, without even touching him, said I needed to put him onto a multivitamin suppliment straight away and keep him on it till he turned a year old. I was pretty out of it at the time, and agreed readily. We started him on the suppliment as soon as we got home, and he never was able to keep a dose down. Well, last night Daddy was able to get him to sleep without him bringing it up again. He awoke a bit after twelve in a right state, and I groggily thought he wanted a feed, so I tried to pop him on the breast, but he wanted none of it. I noticed pretty quick that he couldn't breath though his nose, and his crying was paniced, so I tried to calm him down, but he got more and more frabtic, and started to turn blue! EEK! I wake up Michael and tell him I'm going to the hospital, and poor Michael wakes up in a hurry, but I am so freaked out that the dizzynes from the drugs is hardly a problem! Got to emergency and the nurse quickly spotted he was actually in a great deal of pain, because his legs were scrunched up and his tummy was so very, very tender. While he was making arrangements Eli suddenly did a huge spew and all his medication came up, and he immediatly started to calm down. They put us in a cubicle for about 2 hours, by which time Eli was comfortable and asleep, and I was a zombie from pain and tiredness, and I was informed by both the doctor and the nurse that Eli was way to young for the medicine and the specialists didn't know what they were talking about!! They were loath to let me drive home, but I assured tem that the pain would keep me awake long enough to get there, and I would drive carefully. I HAD to go home, you see, Michael was going nuts with worry and we don't have mobiles. So I finally get home and 3am to a very worried husband and got him to change Eli out of his putrid clothes while I colapsed into bed.
The only other things that have been going on is that I have finally, after three days, gotten through the monster loads of washing (all done, yay!!), and the home help lady came out to do some cleaning for me.
I am eligable for four sessions of cleaning, two hours a session, one day a week. Today was my first one, and the lady who came out, Elizabeth, changed the three single beds for me, cleaned the bathroom and toilet room, and vaccuumed half the house before her time ran out and I chased her out the door. She was a lovely lady and we got along great, and she would have finished the house off, only I had already had a phone call from the company and they were specific about the time frame, as she had other people to see too.
I am now heading off to bed, with fervent prayer requesting a decided LACK of coughing AND drama thankyou very much please!! Night all!
The plus side is that with all the drama's with the children recently I've hardly noticed my cough at all!! Just sorta crouch down into a half fetal position till the spasm stops and then keep going!
It just kept happening one after the other!!!! Fortunatly I ran out of children! I guess I'd still be going if I had as many children as my Mum has (11)!
