T'was a nice day. Malachi opened his presents right after breakfast, which was pancakes, upon request of the birthday boy.
He was tickled pink with them, but unlike Hadassah, he was also happy to share!

We are still in the process of getting ready to leave for two weeks, so yesterday the house was cleaned from top to bottom, and today the yards were given a talking to, so Malachi waited till dinner time to have his cake, while Michael and I mowed the lawns, trimmed hedges and some more adventurous herbs, tied back vines, weeded, layed down snail bate, and packed up all the Christmas decorations from the front lawn. (Tomorrow, after I've gotten back from seeing the midwife, we are going to pack!)
After dinner, which was lamb riblets in mint sauce with bakes potatoes and frozen peas, corn and carrots (only when they were served they wern't frozen, lol!) we had the cake, which was a rhubard and orange cake with rich chocolate icing, (and it was huge! Three eggs, AND three cups of flour!!) and every one loved it. At least, all the pieces went down rapidly and there were no complaints!

They are now all sitting happily eating their second slices of cake in front of the TV while watching Kung Fu Panda.
Technically they are 51 weeks apart, and that seems more and more aparent each year, lol!
we-ell, I make time to visit the midwife by asking if she'll see me at 9.30 in the morning - lets hope I can get some brekky in before I leave!!
I only hope that when we pack the car it is not too full, because we actually have a wee bit of shopping to do before we officially leave the neighbourhood, and I'd rather easy access to the children, than have to dig them out, lol! We shall see.
