29 Jan 2011 Hosptal Bag Packed!

I have finally packed my hospital bag, and its got my things and babies things all ready, I got the perfect list to help me here!
And also the bassinet is clean and the things to make it up with are in it, but under the circular change mat my Mum gave me, to keep them clean.
I have just combed through our bedroom, because every time I went into it my nose itched, and I get rid of a head of dust, and its even a little tidier, lol!
The fridge is still full of home grown veges, and the garden is yielding nicely, the basil is planted in my huge white terracotta pot, and hopefully the rotton Puss cat will stay off this time and let them grow, and my plant nursery is behaving nicely, so I should have more wee plants to plant out soon.
Plans are under way for in the next couple of weeks we pack up our tent and camping gear and rough it at Golden Beach for a night, having set of bug bombs both in the house and under the house as a desperate attempt to get RID of the fleas and cockeroaches that are making a (very) occasional appearance, and we are also going to give Gaspode a dose of Evolution (I think that's what its called) to try and get them off of him, too, as he's coming with us. Goodness knows how I'm going to go in the tent (!!!!!), but the sacrifice is necessary to cleanse the house!
The children are asking me regularly if the baby is coming out yet, and every time I go out in the car the first thing they ask when I'm leaving is, are you going to have the baby out? Why, just the other day I must have been looking pretty green around the gills, because Malachi asked me anxiously, 'is the baby coming out now, Mummy?' and I had to reasure him that while I felt like dog poo, I was not having the baby. I told him that when the baby came I would be feeling pain, not sickness. They are all so eager! I hope it lasts when the baby DOES actually arrive, lol!
Its toooo hoooot!! I am feeling sick, hot, and heavy, and want it to be a wee bit cooler please thankyou!
Oh, and the other day, (I think it was Friday) we had a play date with our friend at church Kathleen, and her Mum, Elene. So we drove out to Yallourn North to visit for the morning, and the children had a really good time. Kathleen is three, and she was the perfect little hostess, wanting to show her guests all her toys, and making sure that they all had something to play with, and when Elene brought out snacks, Kathleen made sure every one had something to eat! Every one was sad to go home!

Eh, we want to get out of the house for as long as possible to let the poison settle, and we can't afford to go away, so we were just going to shack up at one of the unpowered sites at Goldren Beach over night, and come back the next day to bed making and what not. I guess in retrospect an extra week or two is a good thing because it allows all this Yasi weather to settle down, but I AM conserned. Also have discovered that I'm alergic to the little mongrels, so I am unhappy, but steeled towards the event!
he camping trip is still a working progress, and I'm getting anxious about it, because its had to be put back a fortnight because we ran out of money, and still have to buy the bug bombs and the flea stuff for the cats - AURGH!!!!
Not even thinking about the van at the moment, lol! Too hard, too hard!
Been focusing mainly on getting the baby gear and clothes ready for bubs, and Michael has been up in the ceiling reattaching the sky light, fixing the hole in the ceiling he subsiquently made, fix the toilet so it no longer leaks onto the floor, organise his shed, and much more. Poor chap! He swears he'd be doing less if he had a proper job, lol!

I have so many people I want to both visit and have over, but my time is nigh, lol! My top priority at the moment is to get this camping trip done so we can rid the house of pests, and this has to be done SOONER rather than later!!
Also the van we are getting has been put off for two weeks. It has to be transported from Melbourne as apparently what is wrong with it, although not expensive to fix, prevents it from being driven, and the chap who's getting it for us had to negotiate a trailer. So this is being cut REALLY close, as when we get it here we still have to fix it and register it, and I STILL don't know what the make or model is, so all these things are a source of anxiety which I am trying very hard not to think about, lol!
