The
other day I noticed that I was holding Eli in one arm, the phone
between the ear and shoulder of the opposite side aND emptying my twin
tub washind machine all at the same time. I am honestly thankful I can
do this without thinking!
Michael's birthday was the 13th, and he turned the big 3 5! lol, poor old beggar! He had an ipod and a hand painted tardis cookie jar for birthday presents. I do not have a photo of this tiny little piece of technoligy he is si delighted with, but here is the other that rocked his world :)

We went down to immigration Park for a bbq lunch, and unfortunatly I forgot the camera, but here are a few piccies.
We had his cake at dinner time and it was an Arabian Chocolate cake, and it went down very well!

Eli is starting to enjoy different activities, like lying on his play mat in front of the heater:

Or jumping in his jolly jumper:

or splashing in his bath (which we fear he is getting too big for!):

Hehe! Phebe wanted to know if she could feed him too, and I had to tell that poor eager soal she needed to wait till she was older and had children of her own!
Malachi is always talking to him, and when I listen in I hear him carefully explaining stuff ;like how he'll play with the cars, or how 1 +1 is 2, or whatever is on his mind at the moment!
Hadassah loves Eli, but she is watching me more these days, and mimicing my manerisms with Eli.
And Daddy is just a proud Daddy!

Briefly on other things - I have been out in the garden, and am happy to say I can still fill a basket full of food when I go out. I got celery, spinache, broccoli and pac choy this last time, and I must say it does taste good fresh from the garden, though the broccoli is growing rather faster than I care to come out and check on it, so it was rather woody, but the rest was great!
Michael is almost finished the main paint of the house and is just about ready to go on to the darker paint and trimmings
Schoolwork is rocking! Malachi is really into his Maths, and Hadassah is starting to write her own letters semi legibly!
Still no progress on the toilet training front and Phebe, but I asm not worried. She is smart, and I know she'll come to ot eventually.
I am slowly loosing weight, though the middle rolls are being stubborn - at least I am pretty much over the cough! YES!!
My Mother in Law painted that Tardis for Michael. Its really good, isn't it?
My garden has been a working progress for nearly four years! When I first started I only had a few plants in pots. This year I found the perfect corner of the house to have a nursery (I have set it up on the square water tank that isn't connected to the house yet), and each year it gets better!
I am trying not to think too hard about Phebe and toilet training, because while I am positive she will get it, she is well behind the other two!
My running theory is that it is because they are so intelligent that they refuse to bare their bums to that hole! They are convinsed there is a better way!!
