Feeling
a bit discouraged because I went to see the midwife after not having
seen any one for three weeks (honestly, I should have seen some one al
least twice in this time, but they are very lax with this pregnancy, I'm
not sure what to make of it . . .) and after being told by the midwife
yes, baby is perfectly fine, and not getting anything really on the how
is me the mum doing question, Michelle (midwife) said baby was in a real
cheeky position, having its back still firmly against mine (though I
seem to recall I have carried all my babies this way) but this didn't
matter because I was having a c-section. Then she told me that even
though baby was sitting generally low, it was actually quite high,
because its actually sitting on the tight scar tissue, and is unlikely
to go lower because of this, so this explains why I'm so sore. Also
squelches any hope what soever of a natural birth.
Baby is still an imp. Responds promptly to movement, light and noise, and seems to have enough room to wiggle and squirm and push and kick, though this can be explained by the fact that it is sitting the way it is.
I am definitely running out of things to do! First the house (and all the cupboards and corners there in) has been delved into, then the garden has been pulled and prodded and cut and raked within an inch of its life (though with the rain we've been getting you hardly notice, lol!), and now my computer has been organised! You'd think that with all this activity this place'd be as neat as a pin, wouldn't you? Nup! It may be tidier than some peoples houses, but its not pin like at all, lol!
Dear Granny is back, and I have mixed feelings about this, actually, because she is tired, and she is not altogether pleasant when she's tired, plus my nerves are tense, so I am treading carefully, and I pray she does to!
Tired in the extreem this last week. Big circles under my eyes, and foggy brain, but seem incapable of stopping completely. Need to get up every now and then and do something.
Yesterday discovered I was hungry again, after a fortnight or so of not being terrribly hungry, so I expect baby to get noticibly bigger again. *sigh*
Been keeping Malachi and Hadassah steady with their schoolwork, and Hadassah just had her last day at ABC this Wednesday gone, so we shall see how long we can plug on for here, too. Hadassah is definitly not ready for proper schoolwork yet. She has trouble following instructions concerning the formation of letters and numbers, and we are still having discussions on how she holds her pencil, but I hope to over come this soon.
Phebe is still being obstinant in not doing her wee's in the dunny. She will either hold them till her nappy goes on, or els go and do them on the floor when no one is looking. Today I was extra annoyed at her, because she knows full well what she's doing, the rotter!!
Michael is about half way round the house painting (I must show him those pictures of Steve's study, Janice, I'm sure he'll love them!) and he's up to the older part of the house now, which needs the rotten weather boards pried away and replaced as well as the sanding, but he's doing a good job.
I want to run away and not come back until this blessed surgery business is over and I can pick up where I left off! Let some one else have the surgery!! I just want the baby, darn it!!
With Malachi I was early, but this was because I had a lower chest infection that caused complications that led me to be induced, which brought to light the issue of birthing that I seem to suffer from, and that turned into an imergency c-section, with Hadassah I was on time, I came into labour naturally, though I didn't have her naturally, I was still on time! With Phebe I was supposed to go into surgery in the morning, but it was put off till the arvo because the doctor who was supposed to fix me was called away to England on imergency family business and it took them that long to find a replacement (!!!!!) So I would be happy with an early proceedure this time, I really would! LOL!

I'm feeling dreadfully morbid at the
moment. i should not blog when I am morbid, lol! But I am having an
interesting time imagining the baby being beamed out of me by Scotty in
Star Tekk!
I believe, if I am counting it right, that I have 25 days to go. Then its D day! Chop chop time! Out it comes! Yeah baby!!
