The day before I took him down to the little shopping Mall and he chose a present for himself, actually a smart move on my part I think because he chose this noise making work shop which is apparently for ages 18 mths and above, so I would never have looked twice at it! But after he (with help)unwrapped it on the day he played very happily with it, and he still goes back to it to back and poke and prod it , lol!
The cake was very sweet. I made it from this spicy Jam cake recipe that is titled to be 100 years old, AND it had 5 eggs in it, which is a first for me, I never use that many eggs in sweets as a general rule, lol! But I had surplus so I splurged :)
So my little man is now one whole year old!
