Today, I must admit, has not been the nicest day in the whole wide world, but we got through it!
Firstly this morning Michael discovered he hadn't taken his medication yesterday, and consequently was a bear all day, and stressed me out with the near constant snapping . . . tomorrow he'll be better! I'm sure!
Then we went to drop off Phebe at childcare and had a disagreement on moving the broken washing machine off to the side of the driveway and out of the way, versus putting it back down the back yard where it would definitly be out of the way! I wanted it shunted to the side as I just knew if it was put back down the back it would be forgotten again. Michael gave me a lot of grief over this, but apologized in a sort of way by the time we dropped Phebe off, but then it started up again when we dropped Malachi off at Grannies, and it lasted till the hospital.
My visit at the hospital was with the midwife Michelle, and we established I have a very cheeky baby, because it kept wiggling away from the heart monitor and kicking it instead, but my blood pressure is 130 over 80, which is rather high, but I put this down to lack of sleep, rather than the arguement. Michelle said that if the siatica pain got too much just come back to the hospital and they'd see what they can do.
Michael, Hadassah and me then came home, with Michael still being disagreable over the washing machine, till it was moved to where I suggested and, shock horror, it fitted!! FINALLY we moved on from that dratted conversation!!
After we had eaten a lovely lunch I discovered an electricity bill in the letterbox that once again had not been tallied right, and our solar grid ignored!!! ARGH!!!!! So Michael called them up and then spent the next two hours on the phone being shunted from one person to another as nobody tried to fix the problem, though it was first asked whether the grid was connected (YES!!), then whether all the paper work had been filled out correctly (YES!!!) and finally whether the box was in an accessible place (YES!!!!) and so, after two hours of pigs bum, they finally said it was another companies problem, but they would get in contact with them, and then send us anew bill with the correct figures on it!! Ratbags!! I'm telling you right now, we have had no acknowledgment of our solar on our bill the past 18 months so if we are not rebated a sizable sum, I don't know what poor Michael is going to do, let alone me!!!
During this time Granny had dropped Malachi back home again, so we all jumped into the car and headed off to Centerlink, because yesterday we found out from a very apologetical mechanic that out van needs $3000 worth of work done on it to make it drivable and road worthy (!!!!!) and naturally we do not have this kind of money, and called the bank immediatly to see if something could be worked out. The bank said they couldn't help us unless one of us was earning more. I told them my pay would go up when baby was born and they said that if I could provide proof of that they would reconsider our options.
So off we go to Centerlink only to be told that they could not give me that kind of info and I would have to wait till baby was born till it was accessible (!!!!!!!) so we made our way back to the bank and told them this, and they said well maybe a personal loan, so we tried that out, and the bank computers rejected us because we wern't earning enough(!!!!!!!!!)
Bottom line. No van without funds. No funds without baby.
Worried because car is too small for all of us, and if an emergency arose what would we do? Cope I guess. Nothing we can do right now. However Michael is going to draw attention to the need at prayer meeting and get some help on the high side of the issue. Then we wait and see.
Michael is still grumpy as all get out, and I am so tired . . . but I must get up and protect the children from his wrath, as when he gets like this he can border on completely unreasonable. Must go, hope every one is having a good night! Tomorrow will be a good day! You'll see!
Today has been a wipe out day for me today, sooo tired and lethargic, but I had to do the washing because I had three days worth, and then I had to get creative about where to hang it so it'd best dry, as it is wet and cool today (though not cold enough to have the heater on), so I've sort of comandered the exterior doorways to have my clothes horses in front of them, lol!
Also planted the last of my seedlings out, but there wern't many, and I've got the pots ready for the next wave of seeds, but I cannot plant them till I have the markers to write what I'm planting where, and I won't have them till Thursday, so it'll have to wait.
Other than that, Michael has been working on assembling the church bulletin AND my Sunday School lesson (I compile it, but he assembles it and prints it out), and tonight he goes to Bible Study, so he'll print the stuff out tomorrow just before the Movie Sleepover he's organised at the church for the church begins (it officially starts at 6.30pm, and anyone who wants to stay the night can. I shall be leaving with the children at about 7.30pm, however, lol!)
I'm slowing down all the time, I've had to give up the daily morning walk, for the most part, because I get up in the morning so tired, BUT!! I have oh, I think it's about 13 days left? Or something? And then I go in for the c-section, so its not long now!!
The old washing machine is neatly out of the way while being in plain view so it won't be forgotten, and I'm a good girl because I didn't lift it, hehe! Michael, however . . . well, its not that heavy!
They had better get on our case, because Michael is definitly on theirs!!!!!
Baby is big and bouncy, and refuses to get into the right position for me to come in to labour to have it, but every one is getting a kick out of watching my belly stretch into unbelievable shapes, and the grimaces and groans from Mummy during the process, LOL!!

Bub arriving would be soooo nice! Its a
cheeky monkey, I swear! As it was dancing around my belly for the best
position to kick the heart rate thingy, I joked with Michelle that the
only difference between the baby inside me and the baby outside was
probably the noise level, LOL!!
Michael is pretty determined to get some one to do something about our power, and I have every confidence in him! I guess the fact that I feel I can trust him with it is a comfort in itself, eh? *big smiles*
The van was a shock to our mechanic as well as to us. He is a real nice bloke and we feel so blessed that we found him, because you know how hard it can be to find some one good, eh? Its just a pain in the bum, and I need to remind myself that at least we still have wheels even if they aren't big enough! I'm pretty sure the bank will come through for us in the end, I mean, its not their faulkt they cannot give us the money, and they tried so hard (even if we WERE waiting about an hour for some one to see us!!!!!)(blood pressure people! Not helped with uncomfortable seats!!)(LOL!) and the lady tried so hard to get us a loan, but the computer wasn't having any of it.
I still have some spirit, and with Michael calmer today its already better, but I think I have caught a cold that my smallest person and mine darling husband picked up at church, so am feeling the effects of that, but hey! I can laugh over it! I mean, its Murphey's Law, right? hehehehe!
