Because next time you hear from me I will be a mum of four!! LOL!
Oh man! Take it from me, DO NOT get this virus! It SUCKS!! Gets you
in the joints, and in the head, and in the chest, and the cough won't go
away, and you get dizzy, and have double vision, but you can't lay down
- oh no! Because as soon as you do your trying to cough your lungs up!!
Argh!! Even now I shall not be staying long as the screen in hurting
mine eyes,. but I wanted to post up for myself once more before the
surgery!!
Just briefly looked at my email list, saw that it was over 200, and
deleited the lot. Can't handle that right now. If its important they'll
get back to me!! Then I moved on to my lounge and spent a lovely half
hour reading and answering the lovely, kind, and encouraging things
people have written. Thanks guys, it was just the best to see all your
notes and I want you to know I deeply appreciate every one of them!
I have dragged myself over the garden and harvested all that was
ripe, or nearly ripe, because I know Michael will never make it down
there, and I didn't want it spoiled, and spent a lovely twenty minutes
or so planting the seeds for next months planting out (most of which I
was able to sit down in the sun while during) just had to be careful not
to cough over the seeds or they blew away!!!
Been over the house roughly, but mostly to tidy and organise, not to
clean so much, and everything is fine on that front, though I did have
to dust our bedroom and the lounge and get Michael to vaccuum, because
the dust was playing silly buggers with my chest!! And Michael said he
was not equal with dusting, so . . .
Elene is all set up with the Sunday School lessons and as the last
couple of Sundays have testified, she has plenty of helpers out there,
and so the Sunday School will stay running this time (unlike what it did
when I had morning sickness!!), so my mind is at rest about that. Also
the whole church helps Michael out with the children while they are
there, so Michael no longer has any anxiety over going without me
(except that I am home alone, but hey, that'll be over tomorrow right?)
The children are all a wee bit anxious about me, especially since
I've been sick, as Michael told you, but they are all very gentle with
me, and are soooo excited about tomorrow. I hope I am well enough for
them to come over and see the baby tomorrow arvo!
I double checked my bag, and have put deoderant in my dilli gad, as I
discovered during my brief stay in hospital earlier that I didn't have
any, and Michael is buying me some little shampoo and conditioner for it
as well, just in case. So I am all set.
We leave at 7.15am tomorrow morning, and I should have the baby by
lunch time!! Yay!! Granny is coming over tonight to spend the night, so
that the children don't have to be woken before they are ready, and the
car was filled up with petrol on pay day, so we are fine on that front
too.
I am going to be pushing for photo's or a video or something and I
hope Michael will oblige, because you guys have been waiting for this as
long as I have, and I just have to share it as soon as possible, though
I have doubts as to his initiative of posting if Janice and I aren't
there to kick him in the butt about it!
Thankyou for your calls, Janice! You remind me of what my Nanna sounded like!
Big smiles and great expectations for tomorrow, despite the racking
cough!! I am recieving your king thoughts, vibes and prayers and draw
strength from them, and have, well, mostly peace of mind, but none the
less and madly looking forward till tomorrow when its all over!!
