02 Mar 2011 Moment by Moment

Full couple of days!
Yesterday I went with Granny and the three children to Yarragon, a lovely little town that is three train stops away. Yes, that's right, we went by train. Man oh man! The most stressing part was having to hurry off the train without being able to double check we had everything (as it didn't stop for very long!!). Not that we left anything behind, but I really, really like to check, ya know?
I have posted up briefly about it in destination holiday snapshots, and I actually took my camera, but I forgot to take photo's!!
We went to see if Granny could find a place to sell her painted rocks, but the trip was unsuccessful in this respect. However the children had a great time on the train, and while we were there we walked along the shops and had lunch and coffee.
One the way home in the train we discovered my church friend Elene and her daughter Kathleen in the same carriage, and us grown ups had a chat while the children mucked around o the chairs.
Got home and was very tired, lol!
Went to the doctors this morning, and he is not happy with me. Apparently I have trace amounts of calcium in my urine, ciatica down my right leg, high blood pressure, and am carrying a very big baby to boot! He thinks that the high blood pressure may be due to the fact that I have been unable to sleep properly, and I mentioned to him my nightmares, dizzyness, and a couple of other things I can't remember at the moment, and he  wrote out some notes for Michelle the midwife to check on when she sees me next week, and depending on the outcome of her check up as to what we are going to do with me. I told him candidly that I had no problem with baby coming out early because I thought it was big enough, and he agreed with me!
When I got home Elene had come over for a visit with Kathleen, and the children had a wild time together (Kathleen is rather lonely because she has no other children to play with where she lives), and Elene and I planned Sunday School for the next nine lessons, discussed the ACHS Home Schooling system (and I showed her my records and what not), and had a lovely chat!
This afternoon Granny decided to visit, and worried over my blood pressure, chatted over coffee, and went home again taking some lettus and cucumber with her!
Oh, and I took it into my head to plant out the rest of my tomato plants and pumpkin plants, and I brought in another armful of lettus ad some cucumber.
Am now a wee bit blurry eyed, but am in good spirits, considering my big baby is kicking the living day lights out of me!!
No scolding, please, any one. Most of my activities (except the gardening ) were not my fault, I just went with the flow. And I am surprisingly calm about the whole thing, but this may be due to the fact that the doctor is finally taking some notice of me, lol!
Hope every one is well (Marg, this means you!!!!!), and you never know! The next time you hear from me I might be chipring about my new born baby (but I doubt it!)!
I get the feeling this one is more than seven pounds, even now. Michael fears I might be carrying all of a 10 pound weight by the time it comes out (waaa!!!) but we shall see! I would love to go in and have it, oh, say tomorrow? Yes, tomorrow woyld be nice, lol!
