08 Mar 2010 My washing machine has died!!!!!

As of this very moment I do not have a washing machine!! It died this morning, and I now have to consider the prospect of washing everything by hand till tax time.
LA-DE-DA!!! Life is so much fun at the moment!!
Hey! Just think of the muscles I'm gonna work up as I wring the water out of all these clothes, and carry them out to the washing line!!
Its wet and miseruble here - MISERUBLE I tells ya! But I'm not too worried, as I have plenty of clothes and linen, and I know something will turn up! It always does!

I wouldn't borrow a washing machine, as we work ours really hard! We seem to go through one every 18 months or so, and I'd be afraid if I borrowed some one elses, even for a  couple of months, we might kill it before we had a chance to give it back or something! I am not particularly worried about it, as we have done this before, and I can keep on top of the washing pretty well without one, but its really hard on my hands and back (dish pan hands - oh my!!).
The good Lord keeps an eye on us, and we arn't  going to cry about this sudden turn of events (not right now any way, don't know how I'll feel about it later, but that's later!), I do find it some what humerous, though, as its cropped up when we have so many other things that have to be paid for first that it HAS TO go on the back burner!!!

Mate, I adore old stuff like this! If I ever came across something like this, I'd buy it even if I DID have a working washing machine!!
We may get lucky, and find a washing machine before tax time, but money is pretty tight at the moment, and we have to prioritize the paint for the out side of the house over a washing machine, as the untreated wood on the extention is not weathering well .
It's just bad timing all the way round, but we shall keep our chin up!!
