08 May 2010 Just a couple of things . . .

The doc has given me a course of Clomid, to help me fall preggers and try and set my hormones straight. I have decided that I don't like it because it tastes foul, and I'm getting most of the side effects, but it was only a five day course, and I've got two days left, so she'll be right mate! Tell you what! I was gonna give rough details on what was done to me, but my brain won't work at all, and I just can't think of the flipping words!! Basically, the doc took a blood test to measure pregestrone and estregen levels, and my pregesterone level was supposed to be between 20 and 100, 20 being infertile, and 100 being exactly the opposit. Well, mine was 21. Hence the Clomid. Just between you, me and the fence post, however, I thing it was the iron plus that sent me wackers, because methinks the crook feeling I started having back in December started about the same time I started taking these blessed tablets, and about three weeks ago they went mysteriously missing (I seriously hope a child hasn't taken them, but they haven't turned up, and no ones is sick, so I'm just crossing my fingers and praying a lot about that), and since I haven't been taking them I've been feeling like my old self again! I was only on the darned things because I have low iron, and they were recomended to me by my neighbour! Guess what I'm not doing again!!!!! Anyway, if I end up with six babies at once we'll all know the reason why, eh?
Next doors still isn't talking to me, and has gone as far as to tell her children they arn't allowed to talk to my children, which poor Hadassah found out the hard way a couple of days ago! Grrrr! Its not fair that her problems have to spill out onto the children! Never mind . . .
I have a million carrots! I planted a packet into some long boxes a few weeks ago, and it looks like every one of them grew!!!! I have transe planted as many as I needed too, so we'll see how many of the disturbed once grow! I also have onions, beetroot, celery, rocket, spinach, brocly (Ha! Ha! Can't spell to save me life at the min!!) cauliflower and brussel sprouts growing, but its aconstan fight against the snaisl!!
Despite the hic ups that are happening, life is good, and I am well content!
I have had heaps of parlsey up until last year, when it all decided to flower () and now this year so far its still very teeny. I miss them, too, because I have gotten used to trotting outside, cutting as much as I need, and bob's yer Uncle! Must be patient! It will grow . . . .
We-ell, my brussel sprouts are very small, because they are growing beneath a gum tree, but they taste real good! Funnily enough, I have less problems with them than I do with other things . . . trouble is I need to keep them safe a whole year! I have next years planted in a different spot, so we'll see if they grow any bigger, eh? No worries!
Wull, I'm off it now, it was only a five day course, and the worst things were the conjunctivitis and the extreem tiredness. Seriously, I couldn't drive at all because I was disorientated and I couldn't see properly! As soon as I finished taking it it all fixed up again, so I'm happy about that!
Yup, I'm feeling great! The doc has given me another blood test to do when I'm supposd to be ovulating, to see how the Clomid worked, but with any luck I'll be preggers by then, and none of this will matter any more! (ha!Ha! plonk! I know there'll be a whole new set of worries if a do fall pregnant, but we take these things one step at a time!)
