26 Jan 2010 Unexpected Holiday

On Wednesday last week I went to the church to dig  up a garden bed in preparation for the Sunday School lesson (we planted veges in memory of Moses when he died), and I got sunburnt.
On Thursday it was the big fortnightly shop, and it was very hot, and I started late, as Hadassah had to have her four year shots, so I finished the shop late, and I was totally exhausted!!
On Friday we had planned to visit my family in Wyreewa, (nearly three hours drive away), as a day trip, so I crawl into the car, prop my eyes open with match sticks, and we got there safely, but I was soo tired, that when it was time for us to leave no one would let me near the car!!!
Mum arranged to have the caravan cleaned out (unfortunately the fatalities included a couple of ant colonies and several nasty looking spiders), and we stayed the night, very comfortably I might add.
It turned out to be a lovely stay, though, as Mum made sure I did practically nothing, and I was thoroughly rested, the children had the time of their lives, and even Michael came out of his shell a bit and had a yack!
The next day I felt MUCH better, and the ride home was quite pleasant!  Love you Mum!
Tell you what, ( while on the subject of grown up children), I can't wait to be a Nanna and look after my grand children! Mmmmm! The thought makes me all warm inside!
